The New Neutrals
Pastels and light gray-tone colors have returned to the list of popular color choices for 2013. Ethereal blues, soft whites and earthy reds blend with neutral taupe and gray tones.
Retro Splash
Strong colors make up "The Comics," one of Pantone's brightest color palettes for 2013. "The Comics" joins colors such as Green Flash, Strong Blue, Phantom, and Fiery Red recall the lively décor of a 50s-style diner. These colors are not just for the retro-set, though. The right mix here can just as easily create a sophisticated appearance.
Tangerine Tango
PANTONE'S COLOR OF THE YEARTangerine Tango is the "right now" color choice for many. This dramatic combination of red and orange is bright and cheerful, and pairs nicely with everything from creams and tans, to pastel blues and lime greens.
